Licensing of advanced reactors, including small modular reactors, requires a risk-informed basis for both design changes and regulatory review. This study presents a Dynamic Probabilistic Safety Assessment-based RIDSS platform that supports designers during design modification and provides analytical input for TI-RIPB-based licensing. The platform calculates time-dependent occurrence probabilities for core damage scenarios using probability distributions of component failures. Based on these results, it shows how the risk contribution of each component changes over time. It also provides design-specific conditional core damage probabilities, which enable comparison of alternative design options and identification of design changes that have a significant effect on plant risk. By introducing dynamic risk information into the design stage, the platform helps improve design decisions and strengthens the technical basis for licensing advanced reactors.
