 What does IAPSAM stand for?    International Association for Probabilistic Safety Assessment and Management.

 Who is in charge of IAPSAM?    The Board of Directors govern the activities of IAPSAM. Information on the board can be found on the Board of Directors page.

 How often are these conferences held?    The IAPSAM conferences are held every two year.

 What happens at your conferences?    The conference contains a mixture of sessions containing technical paper presentations and panel discussions. Also, exhibit booths, breaks, and after-hour programs foster the sharing of information through an informal environment.

 Who attends your conferences?    Typically, researchers, practitioners, and regulators from a variety of industries attend our conferences. The areas of interest include: Aviation, Chemical Process, Environmental Systems, Information and Communication, Insurance, Land Transport and Highways, Legal and Regulatory, Manufacturing, Medical and Health, Nuclear, Security and Protection, Space, and Structures.

 Where was the last conference held?    The last conference, PSAM 7, was held in Berlin, Germany. The dates for the Conference were June 14 - 18, 2004.

 Where is the next conference being held?    The next conference, PSAM 8, is being held in New Orleans, Louisiana, USA. The dates for the Conference are May 14 - 19, 2006. The Conference will be held at the Marriott Hotel.

 How do I submit a paper to your conference?    Submittals should be made directly to the Conference Organizing Committee.
